A Giveaway! Sponsored by Julie Kirk

The Giveaway is now CLOSED! Thanks to everyone who entered. The winner will be announced on Thursday 5th July!

I'm delighted to tell you I have another sponsored giveaway for you, this time it's from the wonderful Julie Kirk:

I'm a long time fan of Julie, her fantastic blog, and her kits which give me oodles of ideas even when I'm just browsing them online, let alone when I unwrap them from the perfectly packaged parcels! There's all kinds of intriguing items in her shop at the moment, here's a few that I fancy:

1. This pack of vintage travel papers would be perfect for scrapbooking summer adventures:

2. This art journaling pack looks like it's filled with all kinds of inspiring pieces to help get your thoughts and feelings onto paper:

3. And the brown paper packages kit is just begging for me to take out the contents and attack them with paint and patterns:

So much paper that I want to play with!

*

Julie has a superb organisational tip to add to our weekend celebration:

  • I store many of my everyday ‘go to’ supplies on book-rings which I then clip to a hanging rail beneath my work desk. Everything from my alphabet sticker sheets and cling stamps to ribbons and embellishment packs get slipped on to an open book ring and clipped up so they’re out of the way but yet not too well hidden in a drawer or folder where I’d forget what I had!
  • This method is so useful as I haven’t needed to invest in any expensive, specifically crafty storage system, I just pick up cheap book rings in various sizes whenever I spot them in craft shops.
  • And, as easy as it make storing my supplies … it’s equally as useful when it comes to moving them too. When I’m packing for a crop etc I simply unclip the items I might need and drop them in my craft bag. Not only do they remain neat and tidy as they’re all held together on their book ring it also means that –even if I’m in a hurry – rather than only grabbing one or two loose packets now I can easily grab a whole selection of stickers / stamps etc to work with and be inspired by.

Now I immediately want to go out and buy a hanging rail and some book rings!

Julie Kirk is giving away any paper pack or creativity kit of your choice! The winner gets to pick what they would like? Wahoo!

To enter the giveaway, all you need to do is pop over to Julie's shop, take a little look around, and come back here to leave a comment and tell me which item you might choose if you won. If you like one of the kits that I chose then you can say that, but I'd love it if you'd point out another kit too, just in case I missed a gem that I might want to get my hands on!

This giveaway will close at 11.59pm BST on Monday 2nd of July {NOW CLOSED}, and the winner will be announced, along with winners of all this weekend's giveaways, on Thursday 5th July. The giveaway is open internationally. Please make sure that you tell me how to contact you if you win, if you're not easily reached via a google account.

Finally, don't forget that commenting on this post, and any other this weekend, will count as an entry into the Big Grand Giveaway {NOW CLOSED} - but only if you've registered your interest in winning that prize right here.

Don't forget to let me know what you like in Julie Kirk's shop! See you in an hour! x

How awesome is that tip of Julie's? Loving how easy that sounds to accomplish! Definitely going to see if that will work with any of my own stash! :)

I love JulieKirk's Etsy shop! Can we choose the custom themed vintage paper pack? Cause I'd LOVE a Europe-travel kit. If not, I'd love the Travel. Holidays. The world - vintage paper pack. Thank you very much! I'm super excited :)

I love the world travel kit, and also the Cars & Raincoats one, and my DD would definitely go for the Fashion through the Ages kit - just her thing.

I love them. I would go for the Fashion through the ages kit. very cool!

oh dear I really must have a better look around Etsy - I've been missing all this! If I had to choose just one kit, I'd go for the Steampunk one ... but i'd never be able to choose just one kit :)

Beautiful kits. I adore the vintage lace type one and love the knitting and crochet paper set! So sweet!

I use book rings and a peg rack to store rub-on booklets, stamp sets, and sticker sheets. It works great because everything is out in the open where I can see it and will therefore use it. My peg rack has a shelf on top so I keep my Cricut cartridges up there. For me, keeping things visible reminds me of what I have and encourages me to make use of it.

This probably dates me terribly but I remember with nostalgia many of the book pages that I see in these packs...they are similar or are actually ones that I read or came across when I was younger. How I wish now I had kept more of those "treasures" to enjoy now! Three of my favourites were the happy hipster 2 vintage art pack, the vanilla cream mixed materials for altering, and especially the 1970's thing (kit for creativity...our house was decked out in these colours). Love all her stuff, actually!

I love the look of the brown paper packages too!

I've been looking for a reason to "get messy" with my stuff, and that Art Journaling Bits creativity pack looks like just the ticket to help me with that!

My fave from Julie's shop would be the Blank Looks packs - especially the Brown Paper Packages - tied up with string!

Vanilla Manilla. I even love the way it sounds. I really like all of the bare / customisable packs as they are most versatile I think.
