PaperHaus Spring Fling Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to the PaperHaus Spring Fling Blog Hop! You should have arrived here via Izzy at Write, Snap, Scrap, or you can always go back to the beginning at the Paperhaus Blog!

I'm so excited to be part of the release celebrations of the PaperHaus Magazine Spring Issue. Just wait until you see all the amazing projects and inspiration in it! I have 3 projects in this issue - see if you can spot them!

This hop is to give you a look at some other projects that the contributors have made, along the theme of Spring. These aren't the projects in the magazine, so you need to make sure you check out the magazine here for extra inspiration!

Doesn't it look pretty? There's lots of loveliness inside too, I promise!

Almost every stop along this Spring Fling hop will have a RAK (or Giveaway) of some kind, so you really don't want to miss out! I have a giveaway too, but first of all here's a card I've made on the theme of Spring:

To make this card:

1. Cut a piece of white card to 5½" x 3¾". Use a Glitz Chevron Roller Doodle, and some ink pads, to stamp green, yellow, and blue chevrons at the base of your card.
2. Machine or hand stitch a border around the white card, using yellow thread. Sprinkle some Heidi Swapp Gold Lame mist drops near the top left.
3. Stamp a cloud or two above the mist droplets, using blue ink (my clouds are from Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm). Stick the white piece of card to a aqua card blank.
3. Stamp and emboss a yellow 'hello' greeting on smooth white card (I used a Pink Paislee Portfolio stamp), adhere to the card using 3D foam dots. Use Thickers to spell the word 'spring' above your chevrons. Send to someone to brighten up their spring day!

Do you want to receive something to brighten up a spring day? Then enter this giveaway and you'll be in with a chance:

I was just going to give away a Glitz Chevron Roller Doodle, the same as the one I used on my card. Then I decided it looked lonely on it's own, so I added a few papers from each of the Glitz Uncharted Waters and Color Me Happy 6x6 Pads, a sampling of Glitz and Freckled Fawn Washi Tapes (on a wooden peg, with a bit of twine too), and a few Freckled Fawn and Studio Calico Wood Veneers. All that you see in the above photo!

What do you have to do to try and win this little parcel of happy? Just leave a comment! Make sure you leave a way for me to contact you if you win, if you aren't easily contacted via your google account. This giveaway is open internationally, and will close on the 7th of March at 11.59pm PST. The winner will be announced the next day, March 8th, right here on this blog - so check back to see if you won!

Now I hope you enjoy the rest of the hop, and the chance for a lot more prizes. You need to go to Christina at Capture. Create, Inspire. next!

Please take some time to 'Like' Paperhaus on Facebook HERE! And whatever you do, don't forget to check out the magazine! Bye for now! x

Some News!

Hello! Happy Valentine's Day! I've some news to share today - I'm now a PaperHaus Magazine Contributor! Whoop!

If you haven't heard of PaperHaus, then go check it out - it's a free online magazine showing amazing papercrafts - lots of luscious layouts, cards, tags and more. I have got so many ideas from looking at the previous issues, and I'm really proud that my work will be included from now on!

There's not long to wait until the Spring issue, which shall be the first one which I've contributed to. To celebrate the Spring issue's release, there will be a whole lot of fun during the Spring Fling:

Lots of the contributors will be participating in a blog hop, with giveaways on their blogs, so I'll be back with that! And there will be tons more to see on the PaperHaus blog, and the Facebook Page. And there will be the Spring Issue of the magazine to read, of course!

So excited about this, make sure you check it all out when it begins on 1st of March!

In the meantime, the call for submissions for the Summer Issue has just been released, so check it out if you'd like to submit a project or two for consideration. All the details are HERE.

Have a great day! x
